Data we receive
When you use the booking form, we receive: first name, last name, email address, phone number (optional), dates of stay, number of guests, preferred studio type and your message, if any.
The form prepares an email in your own email app: the website neither records nor stores this information. It reaches us by email, just as when you write to or call us directly.
Why we use it
To answer your availability request, prepare a quote and manage your booking (pre-contractual measures and performance of the contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and to meet our legal obligations (invoicing, police registration forms, Article 6(1)(c)).
Retention
For the time needed to handle your request and the ensuing business relationship, and no longer than three years after our last contact. Accounting records are kept for ten years as required by law.
Recipients
The hotel’s reception and management. Your data is never sold or transferred. Technical providers: the website host (Google — Firebase Hosting) for its delivery; fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which transmits your IP address to Google’s servers.
Cookies
The website measures its audience using Google Analytics. These cookies are set only after you agree: none are present until you accept, and declining has no effect on your browsing. Your IP address is truncated before any recording. No advertising cookies are used and no data is sold.

Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. Write to us at reception@hippotel.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data. As email is not end-to-end encrypted, please do not include sensitive information (such as card numbers): the reception team will tell you how to finalise your booking.
